The Body Project is a group-based intervention program designed to meet the needs of high school girls (and those identifying as female) aged 14–18 who are struggling with body image issues and eating related concerns. The group confronts unrealistic appearance ideals and works to develop healthy body image and self-esteem. Each participant will attend four, one-hour sessions over four weeks and participate in a series of written, verbal and behavioral exercises in which they voluntarily critique our culturally promoted appearance ideal for women.
