What actually makes a relationship healthy? (Hint: it’s not just good vibes.) In this interactive youth led workshop, learn how to not only spot red flags in relationships, but also look for the positive signs of strong relationships — trust, support, accountability, and kindness. You’ll walk away knowing exactly what to look for, and what to avoid, in friendships and dating relationships, so you don’t settle for unhealthy treatment.
A closed circle space for trans, gender non-conforming and questioning youth to have a safe, facilitated group conversation about their unique and shared experiences. This group is opportunity to meet and connect with other youths over gender identity. You will also learn to understand the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors and the role that homo/bi/transphobia and minority stress has on thoughts and feelings. This group will also teach strategies to decrease negative feelings and increase positive feelings and learn ways to manage stress by changing thoughts and actions.

Curious about DJing or music production? This hands-on class covers beat making basics like sampling, loops, synth design, and mixing fundamentals, plus DJ skills including beat matching, transitions, and track selection, with all DJ decks, MIDI controllers, and headphones provided (just bring your own laptop). Sign up ahead of time as there is a capacity of 10 students per workshop!

Connection Circles is a space to meet other youth. This is a group that meets monthly and is open to anyone who is interested in attending. This group will discuss how to build healthy communication, express emotions in a healthy way and how to manage complex emotions. Some of the themes that we discuss in group include making connections with others, mindfulness, cultivating resilience, exploring personal values and learning about intergenerational trauma. This group will also give tools to learn how to manage stress, set boundaries and skills to live happier and healthier lives! This is a support space to learn and grow together!
Feeling burnt out? This youth led workshop focuses on managing academic stress while prioritizing mental health. Students will learn coping strategies and decorate journals as a personal tool for reflection, goal setting, and self-care.

Through a fun arts and crafts activity, you will reflect on what matters most to you, set meaningful goals, and map out realistic action steps.
