AFFIRM group
A closed circle space for trans, gender non-conforming and questioning youth to have a safe, facilitated group conversation about their unique and shared experiences. This group is opportunity to meet and connect with other youths over gender identity. You will also learn to understand the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors and the role that homo/bi/transphobia and minority stress has on thoughts and feelings. This group will also teach strategies to decrease negative feelings and increase positive feelings and learn ways to manage stress by changing thoughts and actions.
