Participants will connect with peers who understand, take part in healing activities, explore and process their feelings, and learn healthy coping strategies. The workshop focuses on building resilience, strengthening confidence, and creating supportive friendships, with opportunities to join additional divorce support programs based on interest. Pizza and beverages provided.

AFFIRM group
allcove Beach Cities 514 North Prospect Avenue, Suite 400, Redondo Beach, CA, United StatesA closed circle space for trans, gender non-conforming and questioning youth to have a safe, facilitated group conversation about their unique and shared experiences. This group is an opportunity to meet and connect with other youths over gender identity. You will also learn to understand the relationship between thoughts, feelings and behaviors and the role that homo/bi/transphobia and minority stress has on thoughts and feelings. This group will also teach strategies to decrease negative feelings while increasing positive feelings and learn ways to manage stress by changing thoughts and actions.

No experience needed. This workshop is about experimenting with color, finding calm through creativity, and appreciating the beauty of our planet. All materials provided. This is a group that meets monthly and is open to anyone who is interested in attending. This group will discuss how to build healthy communication, express emotions in a healthy way and how to manage complex emotions. Some of the themes that we discuss in group include making connections with others, mindfulness, cultivating resilience, exploring personal values and learning about intergenerational trauma. This group will also give tools to learn how to manage stress, set boundaries and skills to live happier and healthier lives! This is a support space to learn and grow together!
